Council seeks feedback over energy initiative

NORTH Lincolnshire Council is seeking views on a new Government project which could help people cut their energy costs.

Rising gas and electricity prices are a concern for many residents and the council would like feedback about the ‘Green Deal’ initiative via online surveys.

Views will help to decide whether the scheme would work in North Lincolnshire and if the council should lead on its delivery.

Under the Green Deal, repayments for energy-saving measures are made through people’s bills rather than having to pay upfront.

Repayments are calculated so that savings made will always offset the repayment instalments.

For more information visit the Green Deal pages at www.northlincs.gov.uk, where surveys can also be completed.
