Do parents care what kids do?
HOW disheartening for all the tradespeople and also the town council in Epworth who went to all the trouble of supplying and displaying the wonderful hanging baskets in the town only for some idiots to steal several. Did your child return home one evening with a "gift" for you?
Are these the same "children" who litter the car park and play area in the town on most evenings?
Does your child arrive home late with no appetite because they've already eaten and peppered the town with take away boxes and fish and chip wrappers, cans and bottles?
Do you care that your kids are actually committing crimes? And if they're caught will the usual cry go up that "we have nothing to do?"
Well may I suggest that they spend some of their "spare" time looking after the surroundings they live in. Don't parents realise that it's they who have to pay through their community charges for all the extra upkeep of their towns and villages - and then complain when the charges rise.
