THREE men from the Isle will be sentenced next month after admitting assaulting another man.
Matthew Oldfield, of Ashtree Close, Belton, Gavin White, of Chapel Lane, Keadby, and Thomas Day, of Lockwood Bank, Epworth, had all entered previous guilty pleas to committing a section 47 assault.

The charges concern an attack on a 41-year-old man at Fieldside, Epworth, on April 2.

In previous court appearances Oldfield, 24, had also admitted possessing a Class B drug and Day, 22, had pleaded guilty to evading a taxi fare and two further charges of theft.

Both men appeared at Grimsby Crown Court on Monday and were remanded in custody.

White, 20, was granted bail on the same day and all three will be sentenced at the same court on Monday, July 20.
