Coma dad latest

A DAD left fighting for his life in a coma following a single punch was “improving”.

Iain Eldridge, 35, suffered a brain injury following an unprovoked attack just after midnight on New Year’s Day.

The Auckley father-of-two was “stable but improving” in Doncaster Royal Infirmary, a police spokesman confirmed.

Paul Oakden, 21, of Kingswood Close, Bawtry, has been charged with grievous bodily harm following the Bawtry attack and remanded in custody. A committal date has been planned for this month.

This story really touched me at the beginning of the year and I have been searching for a news update regarding Iains progress. I am happy to hear he is making improvements and will continue to remember him in my prayers
