The following people have appeared at Doncaster Magistrates Court charged with the following offences

balby: A thief who stole a wallet has been left out of pocket after being ordered to stump up £235. Jogare Singh, 37, of Aldam Road was also ordered to carry out 60 hours unpaid work after pleading guilty to taking the wallet containing £200 on December 21.

woodlands: A man has escaped jail after admitting destroying £190 of clothing and boots. Shane Edward Patrick Wagstaff, 33, of The Park, was instead handed a six month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £190 in compensation after the offence on January 26.

conisbrough: A drink driver was left with more than a hefty bar bill after being fined £300 by magistrates. Richard Kerr, 32, of Chestnut Grove, admitted driving a Mazda along his street whilst over the legal drink driving limit. Kerr was also disqualified from driving for 20 months.

balby: A booze thief has been ordered to comply with an eight week curfew order. Stuart Scholey, 32, of Broomhouse Lane admitted taking two £15.57 bottles of whisky from Asda on January 14. Scholey was also ordered to pay £15.57 compensation.

bentley: A computer thief has been slapped with a community order after pleading guilty to taking a laptop. Steven Raymond Smith, 30, of Cross Street must comply with an eight week curfew as part of his punishment after admitting taking the £279 computer from Asda on December 14. Smith was also ordered to pay £279 compensation by magistrates.

conisbrough: A thief has proved he is not the sharpest tool in the box after admitting stealing from a glass company. Gareth Anthony Gardner, 26, of Station Road, took power tools and a laptop to the value of £2,490 between December 31 and January 1 from A&C Glaziers. Gardner was made the subject of a community order and ordered to pay £750 after admitting the crime.
