Early morning arson attacks

FIREFIGHTERS were called to two deliberate fires around the Mexborough area in the early hours of this morning.

A shed was set ablaze on an allotment at York Street, Mexborough, at 2.15am, and took fire officers 45 minutes to make safe.

Just prior to that at Doncaster Road, Denaby Main, a skip was set on fire behind the Asda store.

Dearne Fire Station crews attended both incidents.
