Healthy start to the day
HAVING a healthy start to the day were visitors to Misterton Fire Station last week.
Britain's Biggest Breakfast event was held over two hours on Friday, raising money for charity,
The fundraiser was organised by the SureStart Rural team and the Misterton Fire Station staff who were awake bright and early to provide the community with a big breakfast in aid of Cancer Research.
Lots of healthy breakfast treats were on offer including toast, cereals, fruit, fruit salad and fresh orange juice, at the price of 1 per person.
The SureStart team provided a Stay 'n' Play style session for the children and the fire officers gave the children the opportunity to explore the station and also the fire engine.
Both teams would like to thank all the families who attended and supported the Big Breakfast Event.
