Treasures in the attic?

PEOPLE are urged to root out their valuables as the Sandtoft Trolleybus Museum welcomes BBC antiques experts on Saturday.

Advice and valuations will be given out on antiques, collectables and family treasures and the panel of experts will include Thomas Plant who has featured on TV shows Flog It! and Bargain Hunt.

The museum will be open from 11am to 5pm and admission costs 5 for adults, 3 for concessions and 15 for family tickets - these prices include one free item valuation, additional charges will be made for subsequent items.

All the usual attractions will be on site, including unlimited free trolleybus rides, vintage motorbus tours, period shop window displays, children's play area and a 1950s style prefab bungalow.

A trolleybus driving simulator, vintage bicycle collection and digital theatre are also available for transport buffs to enjoy.

The museum will also be open on Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
