Wet weather affects fun
THE recent indifferent weather, not only in the Isle but also in other parts of the country, meant Sandtoft Airfield's recent flying day wasn't able to live up to expectations -
but it hasn't dampened enthusiasm for the event, which will be staged next year when organisers are hoping for clear skies and a much bigger attendance.
The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance was able to make an appearance, which cheered organisers and visitors alike.
