POLICE are appealing for help in tracing the whereabouts of a missing 49-year-old Scunthorpe man.

Andrew Moody of Skelton Road, Scunthorpe was reported missing at 10.56am on Wednesday January 26, 2012, after failing to attend work that day.

He is described as white, 5ft 8ins tall with a broad build and short dark brown coloured hair. He wears glasses. It is not known what he was wearing when he went missing.

His silver coloured Saab 93 Aero car is not at his home address and he is believed to have it with him.

A dog walker saw the Saab in the driveway at his home address just before 6.50am on Wednesday January 26, with a white coloured van parked on the roadside partially blocking the drive.

At 7.20am the same dog walker saw the car was gone from the drive and the white coloured van had moved entirely in front of the driveway.

Police would like to speak to the driver of the van as they may be able to assist with details of what Mr Moody was wearing when he left the address.

Mr Moody has not been reported missing before and his family are concerned for his welfare.

Andrew Moody or anyone who knows his whereabouts or anyone with sightings of his car are urged to contact police on 101 quoting log 180 of 26 January 2012.
