Polish business owner in Doncaster says the future is uncertain after Brexit vote

A Polish business owner says the future of her company is uncertain following the vote to leave the EU.

Monika Jankawska, owner of Polskie Delikates shop in Waterdale said: "I'm still in shock, I couldn't believe it when I woke up.

"My friend from Poland called me and said does this mean you're coming home.

"I don't know how this will affect me yet but the future is uncertain.

"I think for Polish people who are living and working in Doncaster and have children who go to school very little will change but as a business owner I think the future is uncertain.

"For me it may mean I have to pay more tax on importing goods to sell in the shop which would mean I would have to prices up so this could mean I loose out.

"Things are unclear at the minute, I think we wont see a great deal of change in the next three to five years but I think after that time we will notice a change."
