SWIMMERS are encouraged to take advantage of free sessions available at Epworth Pool.
North Lincolnshire Council introduced the sessions earlier this year to those aged over 60 and children 16 and under and there has been a huge response to the initiative.

Those entitled to take part should report to reception before entering the pool and proof of age must be provided by those 60 and above.

People can make use of casual sessions, family funsplash and lunchtime lane activities however payment will be required for instructed sessions such as aqua aerobics or learn to swim classes.

The free swimming project runs for two years and will finish on 31 March, 2011, for more information contact the pool on 01427 875493.
