Club in recruitment drive

EPWORTH Town Colts FC is appealing for members for its new under-14 ladies team.

Last season saw the club's successful entry into the South Humber Ladies, League, and officials are seeking to enter a side for the upcoming 2010/11 campaign - specifically girls who will be 12 or 13 as of August 13.

The club is also seeking players of all ages, as well as volunteers for a variety of roles, including coaches, referees and committee administrational support personnel.

Help is also needed on match days for kitchen personnel to run the clubhouse on Saturdays between 9am and 1pm, as well as Sundays from 10am to 2pm.

The club adheres to FA Charter Standard guidelines with players mentored by FA-trained coaches and CRB-registered volunteers. Courses are available for those willing to coach or officiate, and training is provided for those taking on supporting roles.

Training sessions for players starts at Epworth Thurlow next Tuesday, July 27, at 6.15pm, contact vice-chairman Sean Kelly on 01427 728085.
