Epworth Town U10s lose to the better team

EPWORTH Town knew they would have to beat a tough Scotter side to get through round three of the cup.
Unfortunately, the Isle team are out of the running but were valiant in their efforts.
Both halves of the game were loaded with shots on the Epworth goal, and Max Brinkley did an excellent job in keeping the majority of them out.
However, by the end of the first half, Scotter were 1-0 up after turning in a goalmouth scramble.
In the second half, Scotter netted three goals in quick succession.
A consolation goal in the last minute from striker Nathan Wilson lifted team spirits, but Epworth had to settle for defeat on their home ground. Man of the Match was awarded to Macauley Scott.
