Garbolino Lindholme angling results.

Saturday, open, all lakes, 27 fished. The match fished very hard with the solid ice being unbreakable and only the water around the airators free to fish peg for peg.

1. Steve Barraclough (Ultimate/Frenzy) peg 2, Willows, caught on maggot for 22lb 11oz of silvers, 2. Steve Rothery (Garbolino Lindholme) peg 49, Bonsai Lake, caught on maggot for 22lb 9oz of roach, 3. S Barker (Oaks) peg 52, Willows, caught on maggot all silvers for 16lb 15oz, 4. Johnny Kenning (Garbolino Lindholme) peg 38, Laurels, caught on maggot for 9lb 5oz.

Sunday, open, 40 fished, all lakes. The lakes where still covered in ice and unbreakable however free water around the airators and the ice removed with the excavators were the only fishable waters.

It was hard going but the Oasis Lake fished really well with plenty of bits and silvers being caught on maggot.

1. John Allerton (Tricast) peg 62, Oasis Lake, caught on maggot for 39lb 14oz of mainly small silvers, 2. Neil Fisher (Dynamite) peg 52, Oasis, caught on meat for 36lb 13oz of silvers, 3. Sid Ellis (Moorfields) peg 48, Oasis, caught on meat for 29lb 15oz, 4. Nick Speed (Sshimano) peg 60, Oasis, caught on maggot for 28lb 12oz, 5. Steve Rothery (Garbolino Lindholme) peg 35, Laurels, caught on maggot for 27lb 1oz of silvers, 6. Mark Jones (Worms UK) peg 69, Laurels, caught on white pellets for 26lb 3oz.
