Good week for Misterton but Scunthorpe still top

MISTERTON A took the most points this week with a haul of 15 at Owston Ferry A.

Reversing their home fixture to play on the Ferry tables, the Misterton team won a close victory by 15 points to 13 with three wins and three 2 point losing games to three wins, a 2 point and two 1 point losing games.

Westwoodside made the biggest points difference with a 13 points to 7 win over Misterton B with four wins and a 1 point losing game to the visitors two wins and a 1 point losing game.

Two teams pushing for the top position clashed this week with Epworth B playing at home to Scunthorpe and finishing with a 13 points to 13 draw after winning four tables and taking a 1 point losing game to the visitors two wins three 2 point and one 1 point losing games.

One-time league leaders Owston Ferry B have lost their momentum and this week lost at home to Epworth A by 9 points to 12, winning two of the games and taking a 2 point and a 1 point losing game to the visitors four straight wins.

The highest breaks notified this week were a 68 by Ian Glover, 47 by Brian Hoole, 35 by Graham Kelsey and a 28 by Kevin Oades.

The result for the game between Owston Ferry C and West Butterwick is not available.
