Isle firm sponsors Knights star
AN Isle man and his business partner have announced they are to sponsor another of the Doncaster Knights' rugby union players in the coming season.
They are Andrew Sterling, who hails from Epworth's Station Road, and Alan Marsham, who are directors of IT support and services company ANEW Solutions Limited.
Last season they sponsored ex-London Irish and Ireland international Justin Bishop but he was injured and did not play for the majority of the season. Justin has now left the Knights to look after the London Irish academy.
"We are sponsoring a new signing to Doncaster – James Brooks, who has come from Leeds Carnegie the league champions last season," said Andrew.
"James is an ex-England Sevens international, plays fly-half and should score some points and when he scores points at home games, ANEW Solutions gets a mention over the tannoy.
"We have a very strong relationship with Doncaster Knights as they have been a customer of ours for nearly two years and we know that this kind of marketing activity cements the relationship between ANEW and Castle Park home of Doncaster Knights," added Andrew.
He and his business partner Alan, who lives in Brough, run ANEW Solutions Limited from their premises on Doncaster's Thorne Road.
