Tennis club set to hold annual meeting
HAXEY Tennis Club is holding its annual general meeting on Wednesday February 24 at 7.30pm at the Haxey Memorial Hall, Haxey. All are welcome.
Club chairman Julian Trangmar would like to invite new members to join the sports group which supports tennis coaching for all ages and abilities. Coaching will start early April and will carry on throughout the summer.
The club has three teams competing in the local weekly tennis leagues and organises social events throughout the year.
Over the past two years it has continued to grow in membership and has a strong junior contingent.
Anyone interested is invited to join the club which is enthusiastic about encouraging tennis in the local community.
