Hide AdMeadowhall says that visitor numbers are being carefully managed to ensure people can maintain social distancing, while red and green lights on store fronts indicate whether it is safe to enter, depending on capacity.
Under the new lockdown rules, people are being advised to stay at home with very limited exceptions, which include buying things at shops or obtaining services.
People are being asked to avoid travelling outside of their village, town or the part of a city where they live ‘wherever possible’, though they can leave their local area to buy goods and access services where necessary.
Visitors to Meadowhall must wear a face covering at all times, in line with national rules, unless they are exempt for medical reasons.
They are also being asked to wash their hands regularly, use the hand sanitising stations available and choose contactless payments where possible.
